lovin' the bumbo.

This kid is seriously too much sometimes.  He loves to sit in his bumbo b/c he can look around and see everything that's going on.  He also can see the TV better, so he is a big fan of that.  

Tomorrow he will be 4 months old and I can't even believe it... 

happy father's day.

We were as lazy as we possibly could be on father's day.  It was Darin's first and he didn't have any big plans for the day.  Henry and I woke up bright and early and let daddy sleep in for a bit.  Once everyone was up, Henry and I got down to business making a nice little brunch.  We also gave Darin his fab I <3 DAD coffee mug with some pretty adorable pics of Henry on it.  Later in the day, we went and looked at a house for sale and finished off the day hanging out, watching Homeland and relaxing.  

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!  I know that I have the best dad, who is now a fantastic grandpa and a wonderful husband, who is the most amazing dad to Henry.  

What a lucky girl I am :)  

back to work.

Well, I survived my first week back to work...  it wasn't great, but wasn't as bad as I expected.  I will say that it was kind of nice to have adult conversations that didn't include any goo-goo and gaa-gaa.  I think Henry survived too.  The best part was knowing that I would get to see his happy little face at the end of the day :)  Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?

family photo shoot.

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to have a little family photo shoot with the fabulous Sonia.  She was our wedding photographer and also helped me trash my wedding dress, so you could say she has been with us from the beginning!  We had a great time, however, Henry was not in the mood to be a model.  He was either sleeping or crying, which wasn't exactly what I wanted, haha.   Thankfully, Sonia is an awesome photographer and made even the grumpiest baby look adorable :)
