It's hard to believe a little over a year ago we were heading to the hospital to meet Emmett for the first time. From day 1, he has continued to be the sweetest, calmest, most laid back baby I have ever met. Everywhere I go, people always comment on how "chill" he is and it is just so true. He goes with the flow, smiling, giggling and saying "hey!"
His birthday party was perfect! I told myself I was actually going to enjoy it and have time to spend with the boys, my friends and our family. Therefore, catering was a must. I didn't want to worry about cooking and timing and all of the stress involved with making a meal for 20 people. So Portillo's did the hard work for me and I will forever cater all parties in the future. The food was excellent, the cake was even better and I didn't have much to clean up afterwards.
The weather ended up being much nicer than predicted, but we had already set up the bounce house in the garage for the bigger boys to play in. They LOVED it and we loved it b/c it wore them out! I highly recommend the Little Tikes bounce house for anyone that has the room for it in their house and has a toddler(s) with energy to burn!
I love that our group of friends continues to grow. Babies everywhere, BOYS everywhere... it was the perfect amount of chaos and fun and I don't think any of us would have it any other way!
