Day #2 in sunny San Diego consisted of football & omelets, then a 2 hour bay tour. We saw massive naval ships in the south bay and sea lions in the northern part of the bay. The day was ended @ Searsucker (this is celebrity chef Brian Malarkey's restaurant from Top Chef & Mega Bites). Here I experienced the best caprese salad IN THE WORLD. I know, it seems ridiculous, but seriously it was the best salad I've ever had. Yum yum.
My favorite part of the bay tour were the sea lions. It was so amazing to see them in their own habitat, lounging around and being lazy. Seems like they have a pretty easy life.
The tour was fun and dinner was incredible. Day #2 in SD was a success!
